Statistical information in the form of official statistics as a public good has been, and will always be, the key to any successful development of policy and planning across all aspects of governance. Its significant role in providing evidence-based decision making at every level of development, cannot be understated.

The World Bank in partnership with the Bureau has acquired the service of Mr Gabriel Gamez, Inter Regional Advisor – Organisational and Development of National Statistical Systems of the United Nation Statistics Division conducting a review of Samoa’s Statistical System including the Statistics current legislations.
