MICS Plus Dissemination Workshop and Wave 3 Launching

    On Friday, 5th of April,2024 the MICS Plus workshop was conducted at the Ground floor of the TATTE Building at Savalalo. The program remarks were delivered by the Government Statistician Afioga Leota Aliielua Salani  and Madam Khin Moe Aye, the  UNICEF Fieldwork Officer in Samoa, Cook Islands, Niue and Tokelau,

    The Samoa Bureau of Statistics (SBS) in partnership with UNICEF began the implementation of the MICS Plus project during the second half of 2022. MICS Plus is a survey tool in which a Computer Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI) method is used to collect data. The main focus is on issues related to children (education, health, nutrition, child protection, and more) and some selected household information.  All the 14sectors of the economy were invited to attend the workshop.
