Simplified statistical communication products a hit with partner agencies and stakeholders

    NEWS RELEASE

“Simplified statistical communication products a hit with partner agencies and stakeholders”

The Samoa Bureau of Statistics (SBS), determined to meet its targeted approach at making statistical information accessible for all, installed various pull-up banners, posters and wall planners in different locations and venues on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th June 2024.

Some of the targeted locations include the Pharmacy, Outpatient and Pediatrics Ward at the Moto’otua National Hospital, and other public access buildings such as the Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi (TATTE) Building Foyer and Ministry of Women, Community & Social Development (MWCSD) foyer amongst others. Partner agencies and stakeholders commended SBS on its “meeting the needs of users” approach, and encouraged the production of more simplified statistics for their respective organizations, to assist with their planning and informed decision making.

All products were designed and developed inhouse by the SBS Communications Team; a by-product of the Tautai funded Household Income & Expenditure (HIES) programme in SBS. For more information or to request copies of the products, please contact 62000 or email Alaiula Ioasa at alaiula.ioasa@sbs.gov.ws or contact 23033 or email Kaisarina Moananu at kaisarina.moananu@sbs.gov.ws.
